Book Definition: The process of examining each question on a test to see how it is related to the objectives being tested.

  • Measures validity of specific questions by evaluating them individually.
  • Evaluating each aspect of the question, deciding if it relates back to the concept. If it does, the question is valid.
  • Checking to see if the questions on the test relate back to what you were taught.

Examples/Functions

  • Each question on an Algebra 2 test would relate to something taught to you in class.
  • Every question on the chemistry test relates back to the objectives from the sllyabus
  • Every question on a U.S. History test would relate to a topic that you leanred specifically in U.S. History class.
  • In Keyboarding class, the teacher dictates the keystrokes that you just learned.
