Mr. Wray's example of showing his students who feared spiders the spider under the document camera. He touched it and explained that it could not hurt him and that this behavior was irrational.
Joseph had a fear of roller coasters from watching movies so Thomas would ride every ride to show that fear is irrational.
If you had a fear of snakes your teacher would touch a harmless snake, such as the one that Mrs. Twiddy used to have, to show that the fear is irrational.
If you had a fear for dogs your friend and or dog owner would pet it to show that its harmless.
